There is little to no discomfort associated with Morpheus treatments, as we apply a topical numbing solution before the treatment to ensure maximum comfort during the procedure. Your skin may be visibly red, swollen with some pinpoint bruising from the punctures, and feel sensitive to the touch leaving the treatment. We recommend avoiding sun exposure, excess heat (i.e., sauna, hot yoga, hot tub), or sweating post. Patients are sent home with specific aftercare directions and a kit including a gentle cleanser, post-procedural cream to reduce downtime as well as a chemical-free sunscreen. Activities and the use of makeup can be resumed the following day to ensure proper healing. You can expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to one week. Patients may experience a slight itching sensation which is normal during the healing process.
