What Is a Microinfusion

A microinfusion treatment uses a sterile, one-time use stamping device with 20 ultra-fine titanium and 24 karat gold plated hairlike needles that are connected to a vial. The vials contain custom blends of toxin, vitamins, antioxidants, and other specific medical grade ingredients. While toxin and filler are traditionally injected deeper into the skin’s surface, microinfusions deliver these ingredients at a superficial level. The needles atop this stamping device place hundreds of precise microdroplets of active ingredients into the epidermis to rejuvenate, hydrate, brighten and achieve targeted results like reduced pore size, subtle plumping and hydration, minimized oil production and redness, and a reduction in unwanted pigment.

What Is In A Microinfusion?

Our microinfusions have been custom formulated to address various concerns ranging from general skin health to pigment control and antiaging. Each of the infusions contain toxin, which is used to tighten pores, tame oil and sweat production and minimize any superficial redness. This microinfusion contains prescription ingredients and is performed by a licensed, medical professional.

We offer three Microinfusions:

1.    HydraFuse-Our HydraFuse focuses on hydration, subtle plumping, skin wellness and rejuvenation. This elixir contains neurotoxin and a custom blend of over 50 essential nutrients, growth factors, and hyaluronic acid to provide maximal cellular nutrition for dull, dehydrated skin. 2.    IllumiFuse: The perfect elixir for evening out skin tone, reducing dark spots and providing overall clarity. The IllumiFuse contains neurotoxin, hyaluronic acid, peptides, medical grade brightening agents and essential vitamins for revitalizing the skin while providing elemental stress protection. Great for those with melasma, brown/age spots and uneven tone/texture.

3.    YouthFuse: Experience an age defying treatment that reenergizes the dermis by reducing signs of aging like fine lines, wrinkles and laxity. This elixir contains a blend of growth factors, peptides, antioxidants, and hyaluronic acid that tighten, lift, hydrate and firm the skin. Frequently Asked Questions

Microinfusions are often confused with another popular collagen stimulating treatment called microneedling. Although they both involve needles, the procedures are very different. Microneedling is more intense, requires downtime and focuses on deeper textural remodeling. Microinfusions focus on superficial textural issues and discoloration. Microinfusions also deliver customized blends of carefully chosen ingredients into channels made by the tiny, hollowed microneedles whereas microneedling does not. The products used during microneedling sit atop the skin and soak in. There is no topical numbing cream involved and patients leave slightly pink with hardly any downtime with visible results in 48 hours. With microneedling, patients leave with a blood mask on and can experience swelling and redness for days following the treatment.
The effects of our microinfusions can last up to 3 months given the neurotoxin wears off around the 12-16 week mark. Microinfusions also offer long term results from the collagen stimulation. Most patients get a microinfusion every couple of months, as a booster, much like you would get a facial or laser treatment to focus on skin health and general anti-aging. We do recommend incorporating monthly facials and medical grade skincare and into your daily regimen to maximize results in between treatments.
Botox and Xeomin can be safely used to treat a variety of muscle causing aging or functional concerns including frown lines, forehead lines, crows feet, TMJ, migraines, enlarged masseters and a gummy smile. With the No Filter Facial, we are stamping a microdose of toxin blended with other targeted ingredients throughout the superficial skin layer at a precise depth to improve tiny fine lines, contract pores and decrease oil production, sweating and redness. It will not relax muscles to prevent wrinkles the way that neurotoxin typically does when injected. If you are interested in relaxing deeper lines and wrinkles in addition to improving the texture, our physician or nurse can consult with you and administer those injections.
Our microinfusion is a wonderful treatment option for those who are looking to optimize their skin health. It is a great add on to facials and can be done on all skin types and tones. Since the effects are less pronounced, microinfusions can be a good entry point if you are new to or considering injectables.
The No Filter Facial is a comfortable treatment and can be compared to what a Clear + Brilliant Permea treatment feels if it was a stamping method rather than a rolling mechanism. There are some sensitive areas (around the eyes and mouth) where tissue is thinner and may cause some slight discomfort. The treatment itself if about 30 minutes and the stamping is very quick. This treatment is performed without the need for topical numbing cream even though we have it available. We do recommend keeping the elixirs on your skin and not washing it off for maximum benefits so you will leave slightly flushed and glowing! The pink/redness fades shortly after the procedure and patients can expect to return to their daily activities within a couple hours after the treatment. You may feel tightening or notice a more mattified look to the skin within 48 hours. Results of improved skin texture, less perspiration, less oil production, and mild tone improvement start approximately day three. Many patients love adding this this treatment into their membership routine.
