Vaginal Rejuvenation

Frequently Asked Questions

The Ultra Femme 360™ is an innovative, non-surgical treatment that is an alternative to other, more invasive, procedures like labiaplasty and vaginoplasty. Feminine rejuvenation procedures reduce, reshape, and tighten female genital tissue to help restore a firmer tone and/or a more youthful appearance. This device can safely treat internal and external women’s intimate parts in the same session. Ultra Femme 360™ is clinically proven safe and effective for vaginal tightening, labia remodeling and improvement of urinary or stress incontinence.

The Ultra Femme 360™ delivers radiofrequency energy and ultrasound waves to the vaginal tissue, which generates heat and stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin resulting in reduced urinary incontinence, improvement in laxity, and an increase in satisfaction during intercourse.

The procedure also rejuvenates the aesthetic features by helping to correct:

  • Large, uneven, hanging, or wrinkled labia minora
  • Pain and discomfort caused by physical exertion and sports
  • Odor and hygiene concerns
  • Decreased sensation during sexual intercourse
  • Multi-directional urine streams
Absolutely! During your consultation, our female nurse will discuss your main concerns, review any contraindications, go over pre and post care and inform you on what to expect in days following the treatment. During your first appointment, our nurse will have pre-selected an appropriately sized applicator tip to fit your vaginal canal and shape for optimal comfort.
Ultra Femme 360™ uses a state-of-the-art handpiece with interchangeable attachments to address both the vaginal canal and the labia during the same treatment. Both handpieces use radiofrequency and ultrasound energy to heat the area and stimulate the production of more collagen and increase blood supply. As new collagen develops and blood supply is increased, the treatment area becomes tighter, and sensation and tissue strength are improved. Because of this treatment’s unique 360-degree delivery and trademarked intelligence system, we are able to use high energy levels without causing the client any discomfort.
Most clients report little to no pain during the procedure. While Ultra Femme 360™ applies heat to the treatment area, you will feel a pleasant and comfortable warming sensation. Ultra Femme 360™ heats at a lower temperature than ablative lasers which means there is minimal risk for painful infections.
Ultra Femme 360™ is done in the office without the need for any type of sedation or anesthesia. Treatments are completely customizable based on your individual concerns. The inner portion of the treatment is incredibly fast and is completed in 8 minutes. Depending on which outer portions we are treating, treatments can be up to an additional 30 minutes.
This treatment does not require the physical removal of any skin or tissue. Since there are no incisions being made, there is no risk for scarring. And since no incisions are made, there is no downtime. Some clients experience mild redness and swelling at the treatment area, but these symptoms typically subside within a few hours. The whole procedure is minimally invasive, and daily activities can be resumed immediately after.
As with any collagen stimulating treatment, full results may take up to 12 weeks. Some women may see and feel a difference after their first Ultra Femme 360™ treatment. However, most clients get the results they’re looking for after three sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart. We recommend starting with a package of three treatments and being treated as often as once a month until desired results are achieved.

As we age, the body produces less collagen than in our younger years. The decrease in collagen not only affects areas we see daily like the face and neck — but also those that are not, like our intimate areas! Just as in your skin, collagen in your vaginal lining is responsible for elasticity and structure. Once collagen production decreases, the vaginal tissue also begins to thin causing the vagina to become weak and fragile. This can result in laxity, dryness, loss of sensitivity and incontinence.
The decline in estrogen also happens when women age. Menopause can cause vaginal dryness, itching, lowered libido, loss of sensitivity in the vagina and pain during sex. Vaginal rejuvenation is one way to help combat these issues and maintain a healthy sex life.

By tightening the vagina and increasing blood flow to the tissue, clients may see improvement in the following: vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, urinary incontinence, tightening of the vaginal canal, sensation, and production of collagen and elastin.

Good candidates for this treatment are females who are looking to rejuvenate their inner and outer workings of the vagina that have become problematic after childbirth, natural aging, weight loss or simply interested in feeling more confident aesthetically.

Patients should be in good health and have no underlying conditions that can negatively impact the efficacy of the procedure. You should not have vaginal rejuvenation if you are trying to get pregnant, undergoing intra vitro fertilization (IVF), have a copper IUD, cervical, uterine, or vaginal infection/cancer, active herpes, pelvic inflammatory disease or a disorder of the uterus or endometrium. It is recommended to wait a minimum of 6 weeks after giving birth for treatment. Patients should follow up with their OB-GYN for or treatment clearance after giving birth. Patients should reschedule if they are on their menstrual cycle.
